The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, deep domain expertise in insurance claims, and bilingual proficiency (Japanese JLPT N4/N3+) to manage cross-functional teams and client engagements effectively.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead end-to-end delivery of projects on Guidewire Claim Center, ensuring alignment with client expectations and business goals.\nProvide technical and strategic guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in architecture, design, and implementation.\nCollaborate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders to gather requirements, manage communications, and ensure successful delivery.\nOversee resource planning, performance management, and team development.\nEnsure compliance with quality standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.\nDrive innovation and continuous improvement across Guidewire implementations.\nManage risks, budgets, and timelines across multiple concurrent projects.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nTechnical Expertise:\nExtensive experience with Guidewire Claim Center platform\nProficiency in Gosu, Java, and integration frameworks\nStrong understanding of insurance claims lifecycle and business processes\n\nLeadership & Management:\nProven experience in managing large-scale development teams and client engagements\nStrong project management and stakeholder communication skills\nAbility to mentor and grow technical talent\n\nLanguage Skills:\nJapanese language proficiency at JLPT N4/N3+ level\nExperience working in bilingual or multicultural environments\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.\nGuidewire certifications (Claim Center) are highly desirable.\nPMP or Agile certifications are a plus.
