Job Title: Systems Hardware Architect - L2\n\nPosting Start Date: 7/26/25\n\nRole Purpose\n\nThe purpose of the role is to design, architect VLSI and hardware‑based products and enable delivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement and satisfaction.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n- Define product requirements, design and implement VLSI and hardware devices.\n\n- Constantly upgrade and update design tools, frameworks and understand the analysis of toolset chain for the development of hardware products.\n\n- Analyze the right components and hardware elements to choose for product engineering or development.\n\n- Conduct cost‑benefit analysis and choose the best fit design.\n\n- Have knowledge of the end‑to‑end flow of VLSI including design, DFT and verification, and hardware product development from design, selection of materials, low‑level system software development, and verification.\n\n- Display a complete understanding of product vision and business requirements.\n\n- Develop architectural designs for new and existing products.\n\n- Partially implement derived solutions.\n\n- Debug and solve critical problems during implementation.\n\n- Evangelize architecture to the project and customer teams to achieve the final solution.\n\n- Constantly analyze and monitor the product solution.\n\n- Continuously improve and simplify the design, optimizing cost and performance.\n\n- Understand market‑driven business needs and objectives, technology trends, and requirements to define architecture requirements and strategy.\n\n- Create a product‑wide architectural design that ensures systems are scalable, reliable, and compatible with different deployment options.\n\n- Develop theme‑based proofs of concept (POCs) to demonstrate feasibility of product ideas and realize them as viable solutions.\n\n- Analyze, propose, and implement the core technology strategy for product development.\n\n- Conduct impact analyses of changes and new requirements on the product development effort.\n\n- Provide solutioning of RFPs received from clients and ensure overall product design assurance as per business needs.\n\n- Collaborate with sales, development, consulting teams to reconcile solutions to architecture.\n\n- Analyze technology environment, enterprise specifics, client requirements to set a product solution design framework/architecture.\n\n- Provide technical leadership to the design, development and implementation of custom solutions through thoughtful use of modern technology.\n\n- Define and understand current state product features and identify improvements, options & trade‑offs to define target state solutions.\n\n- Clearly articulate, document and sell architectural targets, recommendations and reusable patterns and accordingly propose investment roadmaps.\n\n- Validate the solution/prototype from technology, cost structure and customer differentiation point of view.\n\n- Identify problem areas and perform root cause analysis of architectural design and solutions and provide relevant solutions.\n\n- Track industry and application trends and relate these to planning current and future IT needs.\n\n- Provide technical and strategic input during product deployment and deployment.\n\n- Support delivery team during the product deployment process and resolve complex issues.\n\n- Collaborate with delivery team to develop a product validation and performance testing plan as per the business requirements and specifications.\n\n- Identify implementation risks and potential impacts.\n\n- Maintain product roadmap and provide timely inputs for product upgrades as per market needs.\n\n- Competency building and branding.\n\n- Ensure completion of necessary trainings and certifications.\n\n- Develop proof of concepts (POCs), case studies, demos, etc. for new growth areas based on market and customer research.\n\n- Develop and present a point of view of Wipro on product design and architecture by writing white papers, blogs, etc.\n\n- Attain market referenceability and recognition through highest analyst rankings, client testimonials and partner credits.\n\n- Be the voice of Wipro’s thought leadership by speaking in forums (internal and external).\n\n- Mentor developers, designers and junior architects for their further career development and enhancement.\n\n- Contribute to the architecture practice by conducting selection interviews, etc.\n\nDeliverables and Performance Measures\n\nNo. 1 • Product design, engineering, and implementation: CSAT, quality of design/architecture, first‑time right, delivery as per cost, quality, and timeline, POC review and standards.\nNo.
