Job Description
Deep familiarity with data & business analysis, along with modern software design & development concepts encompassing a range languages, frameworks, platforms & products.\n- Can own medium to large scale strategic initiatives/projects, enhances process standards and best practices and supports L3 issues for currently live systems.\n- Understands business needs and priorities and provides thought leadership on potential solutions and the opportunities for technology to create positive impact on the business.\n- Has excellent analytical and problem solving skills that are coupled with strong communication, anticipates issues and deals with them proactively.\n- Is team oriented, highly collaborative, works effectively to build strong long term partnerships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across a variety of business and IT functions.\n- Self-sufficient and shows ability to lead a team of developers, given the opportunity\n- Demonstrates a passion for technology innovation balanced with a pragmatic approach to developing and deploying solutions that best benefit the business.\n- Nimble, adaptable, able to express ideas in meetings & design discussions, comfortable with ambiguity; course correct when circumstances change.\n\nWhat you’ll bring to the role:\n\n- Bachelor of Engineering.\n- 10-15 years of total professional experience.\n- At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role\n- Business Analysis – Investment Management accounting & data concepts (Equities/Fixed Income/ Alternatives/Multi-Asset)\n\nPrimary Tech skills\n\n- Core Java\n- Spring Boot\n- Web services (REST/SOAP)\n- Database/SQL (Snowflake/DB2/SYBASE)\n- DevOps tools and lifecycle - Git, Jenkins, Junit, Sonar, Mockito\n- Working knowledge of Python\n\nGood to have skills\n\n- Familiarity with AI frameworks, data and reporting tools\n- Exposure to UI Technologies\n- Familiarity with Asset Tokenization\n- Understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and/or Alternatives trade lifecycle\n\nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:\n\nAt Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
