Contract Attorney

Job Purpose: Manage end-to-end commercial contract operations and legal process workflows while supporting global SaaS, procurement, privacy, and AI governance initiatives. This role focuses on contract drafting, negotiation, CLM operations, compliance support, and enabling scalable legal operations through process excellence and cross-functional collaboration. Who You Are: LLB or equivalent legal qualification with enrollment under a State Bar Council in India 6 years of experience in commercial contracts, preferably in an in-house legal team or at a firm with a significant tech or SaaS client base Strong experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating SaaS Subscription Agreements, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and Vendor/Procurement Agreements Working knowledge of global privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and DPDPA Familiarity with AI governance and compliance frameworks such as the EU AI Act and US AI regulations Hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms, preferably Ironclad Exposure to tools such as Zip, Salesforce, and DocuSign Strong understanding of end-to-end contract lifecycle operations and legal workflows Experience handling privacy addenda, DPAs, security questionnaires, and compliance-related legal documentation Ability to manage high-volume contract workflows independently while tracking approvals and execution timelines Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Comfortable collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones What Will Excite Us: Experience supporting international SaaS or technology organizations Exposure to procurement-side legal reviews and supplier risk evaluations Experience managing AI governance, privacy, and compliance questionnaires Ability to build scalable legal processes, SOPs, clause libraries, and playbooks Strong understanding of contract repository management, audits, and reporting dashboards Experience supporting onboarding, training, and user enablement for CLM systems Familiarity with AI-assisted contract review tools and CLM AI capabilities Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional business, procurement, and legal teams What Will Excite You: Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI governance, SaaS legal operations, and global privacy frameworks Exposure to international commercial contracts and enterprise legal operations Opportunity to contribute to building AI-native legal operations at scale Work closely with global teams across the US, UK, and India Collaborative and innovation-focused work environment Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven organization Location: Ahmedabad preferred (Remote flexibility available within India)
