Job Description

HRassistance India Consultancy LLP | Full time\n\nResponsibilities\n\n- Be responsible for and manage all tax related compliances for India business entity and global capability centre(GCC)\n\n- Review and file the tax returns i.e. Income Tax, TDS, GST, etc. for all India entities\n\n- Managing GST refund applications for GCC\n\n- Managing assessments conducted by Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, GST, response to queries, submissions & appeals at different levels\n\n- Ensuring TDS, GST, TP, BEPS, Payroll related compliances on regular intervals (Payment, Return, Reconciliation & Revision), analysing applicability of withholding taxes from India & international taxation standpoint, Master file & CbyCR report preparation.\n\n- Liaise with the auditors to complete the Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing audit, master file, GST audit, etc.\n\n- Ensure compliance with GST for transactions between branch locations\n\n- Liaise with external consultants to ensure assessments are being tracked and closed\n\n- Liaise with senior counsel and tax consultants on litigations\n\n- Be a part of the team implementing ERPs to ensure the tax requirements are being considered and implemented.\n\n- Analyzing business function, identifying impact & restructuring business processes like sales, operations, supply chain, administration & finance, adhering to required compliances registration, returns, payments & certification, rereading contracts/PO with customers/vendors.\n\n- Be up to date on changes in taxation impacting the business and put in appropriate controls and processes to ensure compliance; socialise changes to the relevant teams internally\n\n- Supporting business teams at the time of contracts to ensure tax compliance and business impact\n\n- Administering financial activities including monthly closing, provisioning, ledger scrutiny, reconciliation and comparison as per prevailing standards & pronouncements.\n\n- Lead the tax team for India and be responsible for and coordinating with the international tax team in US and UK\n\n- Prepare the tax reporting pack for US GAAP related compliance for India entities\n\n- Manage the submission and follow up for the Service Export Incentive Schemes\n\n- Supervising foreign remittances, inter-company settlement among international markets and sister/partner companies\n\n- Review and assess any tax implications as part of M&A activities\n\nRequirements\n\n- Work Experience: 15+ years of relevant work experience post CA qualification\n\n- Educational Qualifications – Chartered Accountant\n\n- Hands on experience in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint\n\n- Highest standards of accuracy and precision, highly organized, committed and responsible\n\n- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong business partnering skills\n\n- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated\n\n- Demonstrated ability to work individually and in large teams\n\n- Good business partnering and influencing abilities\n\n- Working knowledge of Workday Financial System would be added advantage\n\n- Analytical & Presentation Skills\n\n- Reasoning & Influencing Skills\n\n- Computing Skills – Proficiency in M.S Office\n\n#J-18808-Ljbffr
