• Experience: Proven experience (e.g., 5+ years) as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Cloud Platform: Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub).
• Scripting Proficiency: Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python or Shell scripting (Bash), for automation and development of custom utilities.
• IaC Tools: Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• Container Technologies: Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or shell scripting to automate repetitive tasks, manage configurations, and enhance operational efficiency.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build for building, testing, and deploying applications.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Implement and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Monitoring & Logging: Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and observability frameworks using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack to track system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure security best practices and IAM (Identity and Access Management) governance are applied across all cloud environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and ensure smooth delivery cycles.
• Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. Required Skill
