SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP functional consulting experience with strong S/4HANA depth including greenfield and/or brownfield conversion projects and prior ECC migration exposure.

• Deep expertise in at least two of the following modules:

  • MM

  • PP / PP-PI

  • SD

  • EWM

  • QM

• Working knowledge of FI/CO touchpoints.

• Demonstrable experience in life-sciences, pharma, medical-device, diagnostics, or CDMO industries within a GxP / 21 CFR Part 11 / EU Annex 11 / GAMP 5 regulated environment.

• Experience integrating S/4HANA with:

  • PLM (Oracle Cloud PLM or Agile PLM preferred)

  • MES

  • LIMS

  • QMS

  • Middleware platforms such as SAP CPI / BTP Integration Suite, Boomi, MuleSoft, or equivalent.

• Experience working in co-existence ERP landscapes where SAP and a second ERP such as JD Edwards or Oracle EBS operate in parallel, including master-data and process-harmonisation challenges.

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, Embedded Analytics, and SAP Build / BTP as enablers of user experience and extension.

• Strong stakeholder management, written specification, and workshop facilitation skills.

• Comfortable working across global time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in global S/4HANA rollouts or post-merger ERP integration programs within life-sciences.

• Exposure to:

  • Serialisation (DSCSA / EU FMD)

  • UDI

  • Track-and-trace solutions

  • Batch-release processes

• Working knowledge of AI / GenAI applications in ERP processes such as:

  • Automated reconciliation

  • Intelligent document processing

  • Demand sensing

  • Exception management

• SAP S/4HANA certification in the relevant module.

• Experience with Lean / Six Sigma or operational-excellence frameworks comparable to PPI.
