CAD Designer I
The Mechanical Designer will develop detailed 3D CAD models of complete pump & compressor, and auxiliary support system packages and mechanical component parts including sub-assemblies to support the Sundyne product lines. Creating detailed fabrication/assembly drawings along with performing engineering changes on existing drawings. The Mechanical Designer will be supporting multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

1 - 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design associate degree in related field preferred.
Proficient in 3D CAD modeling
Ability to create mechanical component part drawings and assemblies.
Ability to apply GD&T standards to part drawings and understand the manufacturing impact of the applied standards.
Knowledge of Siemens NX software package is a plus (we will mentor the right candidate)
Knowledge of industry standards and practices (i.e. GD&T, API, ASME, NACE) is a plus.
Self-motivated and highly organized.
Understanding and working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) industry standards and practices
Siemens NX experience
Develop detailed 3D CAD models of component parts and complete skid assemblies based on customer requirements and internal as well as customer standards.
Proficient with Assembly, Fabrication, Weldmaps, GD& T, Piping and routing, component creation, Template models, family member parts and P & ID by using UG NX software.
Develop detailed designs of mechanical components used in the assembly and operation of our high-speed centrifugal compressor builds.
Create detailed vendor and fabrication/assembly drawings.
Perform engineering changes (ECs) on existing drawings.
Model new vendor parts as necessary.
Support multiple concurrent projects.
