Job Summary:

As a Data Associate, you will play a key role in powering MediaRadar's data operations by ensuring advertising content is accurately classified, attributed, and maintained across our platforms. This includes reviewing ads across digital, mobile, TV, radio, and print; creating and updating product records in the MediaRadar Product Catalog; and attributing creative details that enrich our datasets for client use. Beyond day-to-day processing, you'll contribute to operational excellence by identifying workflow inefficiencies, enhancing data quality, and collaborating with automation and governance teams to adopt new tools and processes. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who want to build a foundation in data operations while gaining exposure to analytics, automation, and governance career paths.

Responsibilities:

  • Review digital, mobile, online, TV, radio, and/or print ads using MediaRadar's proprietary platforms to classify the ad (Assign correct product, advertiser, brand, and campaign details).
  • Create and maintain new product records in the Media Radar Product Catalog when products do not exist following governance standards (using documentation, guidelines, and reference materials).
  • Attribute ads using Mediaradar's proprietary platforms to tag key creative elements such as audio, text, visuals, promotions, pricing, holidays, and target audience.
  • Support continual operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies, proposing improvements, reducing workflow waste, and enhancing speed, accuracy, and quality.
  • Collaborate with managers, automation teams, and data quality specialists to identify and test new tools/enhancements, and adopt improved workflows.
  • Identify and report missing media details and take action to confirm data completeness and accuracy.
  • Report on status, coverage, volume, and other key metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and other operational teams.

Success Measures:

  • Accuracy: Achieve and maintain 98%+ accuracy in ad classification, attribution, and product catalog updates.
  • Efficiency: Consistently process ads per day (mix of classification and attribution) against defined team productivity benchmarks.
  • Completeness: Ensure >95% of ads processed include all required product, creative, and metadata details.
  • Quality: Reduce rework/error rates to <2% of processed volume through attention to detail and adherence to standards.
  • Operational Excellence Mindset: Actively contribute to at least two process or tool improvements per year that enhances speed, quality, or automation adoption.

Requirements

Key Qualifications and Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in any field (non-technical welcome).
  • Fresh graduate or early career experience in operational/data processing roles.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work in a team, and meet deadlines.
  • High degree of accuracy, proactivity, and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical thinking and aptitude for data and operational processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office.
  • The applicant should be adaptable to rotational working days, including holidays, and flexible working hours, as these dynamics vary depending on the type of media being handled.
