As an Asst Product Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for the POS product, targeting both existing and new customers. Your role will involve collaborating with the Branch Banking team to understand customer needs and preferences, and then tailoring your sales approach accordingly. You will also play a crucial role in training and motivating the sales team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to effectively promote and sell the POS product. Additionally, you will be expected to stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities, providing valuable insights to the bank's leadership team.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies and techniques, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales-related software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.

  • Develop and execute sales plans for the POS product, in line with the bank's overall strategy.
  • Identify and target potential customers, both individuals and businesses, for the POS product.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure their continued satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Train and mentor the sales team, providing them with the necessary skills and product knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, and provide regular updates to the management team.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, maintaining the bank's high standards of ethical conduct.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
