IATF Lead auditor
As an IATF Lead Auditor, you will conduct audits within the automotive sector, on behalf of DNV and will be responsible for documentation and reporting. You will liaise closely with clients at all levels of management, establish audit plans, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and timeframes. You will also work together with our program manager to further develop the business. You can be based anywhere in India.
DNV is looking for an IATF 16949 Lead Auditor who can:
- Independently lead third-party automotive audits
- Maintain appropriate auditor credentials / qualifications and pursue advancement of those credentials and other related credentials as needed
- Represent DNV professionally with top management at client sites
- Interact directly with all levels of client management in developing timely, complete and accurate report of their current level of compliance or implementation of their management system and release reports to customers as per timelines.
- Deliver high-quality audit reports, documentation, and certification decisions
- Timely review of customer corrective actions/ closure and approvals for issue of certificates.
- Manage audit teams and larger certification projects
- Contribute beyond delivery by supporting business development with the Scheme manager
- Balance technical rigor + customer focus + time pressure
- Has successfully completed IATF 16949 3rd Party New Auditor Training (4 days) and passed all exams and assessments with 6-AUD (ADP Green status)
- Four (4) years full time appropriate practical experience (including two (2) years dedicated to automotive quality management systems)
- Knowledge of the automotive core tools.
- Have conducted at least six (6) ISO 9001 third party audits in manufacturing industries, with at least three (3) as audit team leader.
- Fluent and good knowledge of English language.
- Demonstrated evidence of excellent communication, relationship management and conflict resolution.
- Ability to build good relationship with customers.
- Ability to coordinate, manage an Auditors Team assigned.
- Strong and proven attitude to auditing, including mobility, flexibility, working under pressure, respect of deadline, relations with clients etc.
Security and compliance with statutory requirements in the countries in which we operate is essential for DNV. Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates as part of the offer process, in accordance with applicable country-specific laws and practices.
