Position: Software Engineer (Testing)

Education: B.Tech in Electronics & Communication(ECE) /IT/Computer Science

Experience: 2- 4 Years

Qualifications

Mandatory:

• Test Automation & Scripting: Experience with FIO, smartmontools, hdparm, libzbc; ability to create and modify test scripts.
• System Administration: Proficiency in Linux, Windows, BMC; system logging and monitoring.
• HDD Evaluation: Understanding of TCG, ZBC commands, and internal log analysis
• Tool Proficiency: JIRA, monitoringweb, DaSL OVD, E-IDEA; ability to integrate and manage CI tools.
• Security & API Testing: Familiarity with ATA/TCG security protocols and ZBC API testing
• Networking Knowledge: Understanding internal network routing and system connectivity constraints.
• Experience in Windows/Linux device driver
• Handson Software development using C+

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to understand system evaluation requirements and customize test plans accordingly.
• Execute long-duration reliability tests using storage systems and analyze performance, errors, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks
• Manage test cases, defect tracking, and reporting using tools like JIRA.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to HDD performance and system integration
• Ensure compliance with security and data handling standards

• Experience in HDD or storage system testing environments
