The Role:
RazorpayX is looking for an Associate Manager to work in growth & penetration in the Mid market ecosystem(B2B Sales). He/she/They would also be collaborating closely with cross-functional partners (marketing, Product, Technology, Experience and support, just to name a few) in envisioning a robust business for the mid market merchant base. Focus will be on driving sales via existing products, Go-to-market for new products and overall revenue scaleup.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Training program, and utilize this knowledge to successfully lead the regional sales function.
- Drive revenue from high value merchants, and set up example for the rest of the team to close high value businesses.
- Drive sales team based on industry best practices on processes. The teams are pure outbound sales teams
- Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets.
- Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target regional markets.
- Representing Razorpay at conferences and networking events.
- Work effectively with internal support departments (Sales, Marketing and Product Development) to develop effective sales strategies that promote sales to new and existing customers.
- Continuously research and remain knowledgeable of industry trends and competition.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of team lead experience and 5+ years of sales experience in SaaS or equivalent B2B setup.
- Use of AI in daily scenarios to set up and run projects at scale.
- Should have basic understanding of sales tools and CRM.
- Experience in managing a Sales team (B2B Sales)
- Experience in leading both Inside sales and outbound sales teams would be preferred.
- Strong communication skills, oral & written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role. Should have worked on understanding customer requirements, identifying pain points and probing to understand how their business currently works
- Experience in the Fintech space/Payments industry would be an added advantage
