Sr AVP - Solutioning - Finance and Accounts (F&A)

JOB PURPOSE & SUMMARY\n\nThis role requires a strategic and technically proficient Solutions Leader to spearhead the development and execution of compelling Finance & Accounting (F&A) solutions for RFPs and proposals. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in F&A processes, coupled with a strong command of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, automation, and data-led transformation, enabling the creation of innovative, scalable, and client-focused solutions.\n\nPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES\n\nLead the solutioning and technical response for Finance & Accounting (F&A)–related RFPs, RFIs, and proposals across industries.\nCollaborate with sales, delivery, product, and technology teams to design end-to-end F&A solutions aligned with client needs and strategic objectives.\nTranslate complex finance and accounting requirements into digital-first solutions leveraging automation, AI/ML, advanced analytics, and cloud platforms.\nDevelop solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and value propositions tailored to F&A transformation opportunities.\nPresent solutions to internal stakeholders and clients through orals, workshops, and demos.\nStay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in Finance & Accounting, shared services, and BPM.\nSupport cost modelling, risk assessment, and transition planning for proposed F&A solutions.\nContribute to the development of reusable assets, accelerators, and best practices for F&A solutioning\n\nSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE\n\nFunctional & Behavioral Skills\n\nProven expertise in F&A processes (Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, FP&A, Tax, Treasury) and familiarity with regulatory/compliance requirements\nStrong understanding of digital enablers including ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday), Intelligent Automation (RPA, AI/ML), workflow/BPM tools, and data analytics\nExperience in crafting solutions and responses for large, complex RFPs and client engagements\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nFamiliarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)\nExperience with digital finance transformation, including areas such as touchless invoice processing, cash application automation, close & consolidation, reconciliations, FP&A, or customer-to-cash optimization\nPrior experience working with global F&A operating models, shared services, or Global Business Services (GBS) environments\nCertifications in BPM tools, cloud platforms, or AI/ML frameworks are a plus.\nExperience working with global delivery teams and offshore models.\nFamiliarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the insurance industry.\nStrong analytical and storytelling skills to craft compelling value propositions.\n\nEducational Qualifications & Relevant years of Experience\n\nQualified Accountant, master’s degree in finance, Accounting (MBA preferred)\n10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting transformation, BPM, or solution architecture roles
