Junior - Software Test Engineer

As a Junior Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Product team, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure the reliability and performance of our software solutions. Your primary focus will be on testing and validating our HRMS and Fincorp systems, identifying and resolving issues to maintain high-quality standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on HRMS and Fincorp systems.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Proficiency in test case design and the ability to create comprehensive test plans.
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for HRMS and Fincorp systems.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and report bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to provide timely feedback and suggestions for improvements.
• Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and documentation to ensure consistent and repeatable testing processes.
• Analyze and prioritize test cases based on business requirements and system criticality.
• Work closely with the product management team to understand product goals and align testing efforts accordingly.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis for identified issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
• Ensure timely reporting of test results, including bug tracking and regression testing.
• Assist in the implementation of automated testing frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.
