As Zonal Sales Manager Ostomy Care - West, you will drive topline growth, strengthen market presence, and build strong regional teams. The role spans Mumbai, Rest of Maharashtra, MP, Gujarat & Rajasthan, offering scale, complexity, and impact. Ideal for leaders passionate about performance, people, and purpose driven healthcare.

The Role:

Provides leadership to the Zonal sales team in driving business results aligned to the KPIs as well as provide strategic direction and guidance to the team in line with organization objectives. Also responsible for recruiting, coaching, developing and managing the zonal ostomy sales team. In addition, would be responsible in ensuring sound distribution coverage and maximize sales execution.

Responsible for achieving the given KPIs for the zone

Provides strategic direction for the zone

Sets stretch objectives for the team and evaluates performance to drive continuous development

Should spend appropriate time in working with the team and key customers

Dealer and Distribution Management and ensures 100% compliance

Provides timely coaching to RSM and sales force to maximize effectiveness and is open and honest with feedback to develop the team further

Develops Account Specific Action Plans (ASAP) together with the RSM and sales team for their respective high priority accounts

Drives the RSM to ensure that the sales team follows pre-defined call plan based on Segmentation and Targeting and reviews activity to ensure appropriate coverage of key accounts

Drives the RSM for execution of portfolio and pricing strategy as defined by the organization

Acts as liaison between the team and other functions in the organization in order to ensure appropriate problem solving and support as needed

Takes responsibility to drive tenders and creates appropriate environment and support for the same

Provides the organization with key market insights in a timely manner feeding into better business decisions

Recruits and effectively onboards new team members

Drives Effective coordination of roles and responsibilities within the team

Ensures that the zone maintains transparency and all transactions are compliant with Coloplast code of conduct at all the times

Promotes a culture that reflects the company's values, encourages high performance, and fairly rewards results of the team

Personal Characteristics:

Demonstrates drive and ambition to grow himself / herself as well as Coloplast India with a positive and "can do" attitude

Is a "doer" and instinctively rolls-up their sleeves and gets the work done. He/she is self-directed and takes initiative, knowing when to "get on with it" and when to seek out counsel from others

Should be passionate about taking ownership and delivering on commitments

Entrepreneurial spirit and creative mind-set

Education and Experience:

Preferably a science graduate with Master's in Sales

Over 12-18 years Sales Experience with a Multinational and Medical device company

Min. 7 years' experience of leading a fast-paced growth oriented medical sales organization

Strong Analytical skills and proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SFDC

Intelligent demonstrated in test and business case understanding

Ability to motivate and lead a team with excellent coaching skills

Experience of handling several regions will be an added advantage

Proven Track record in demonstrating business results

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Experience in coaching a sales force

Experience in working with Sales Management tools like S&T and ASAP plans
