The Azure Cloud Architect will collaborate with account teams to scope requirements, design and architect solutions, and act as the local lead for the delivery of cloud projects leveraging global, regional, and local delivery resources. Acting as a subject matter expert for Azure, you will serve as the primary interface for project delivery and support sales and delivery teams in identifying opportunities, gathering customer requirements, performing cloud assessments, and designing technical solutions.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales support for sales teams, including positioning cloud solutions, pre-sales qualification, and opportunity identification.
- Design and present customer- and partner-specific solutions and services.
- Lead project delivery and cloud assessments, ensuring customer satisfaction, achievement of project milestones, and effective communication between delivery teams, customers, and partners.
- Assess and develop cloud economics and migration plans tailored to customer requirements.
- Identify key cloud adoption drivers within customer environments to accelerate business growth and market share through technical expertise.
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners.
- Leverage deep Azure expertise to architect robust platforms using services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, AI Foundry, Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Microsoft Purview, Fabric, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure OpenAI.
What we need to see from you
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong IT experience in a consultancy or in-house technology role.
- Hands-on experience working with Azure and Azure resources.
- Experience developing migration plans, Statements of Work (SOWs), and project deliverables.
- Knowledge of migration and assessment tools, along with end-to-end delivery of cloud-based solutions.
- Working knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and Infrastructure as Code.
- MCSA or MCSE certifications.
- Cloud-related certifications and competencies, including Microsoft Cloud, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Virtualization, System Architecture, and Exchange Server.
- Willingness to travel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
