Specialist - Environment, Social and Governance

ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE :\n\nThe employee will be responsible for managing Ujjivan Small Finance Bank’s ESG agenda across its operations, business practices, and stakeholder ecosystem.\nThe employee will liaise with all the stakeholders across the Bank for ESG performance, disclosures, and regulatory compliance.\nThis role will be responsible for managing the Green Portfolio - effectively monitoring the fund flow, reporting to the applicable regulatory needs & ensuring that the audited mandatory reports are placed in the public domain and shared with the stakeholders.\n\nKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE :\n\nSupport execution of the Bank’s ESG and Sustainability strategy.\nLiaise with cross-functional departments for the implementation of the ESG initiatives & collection of the required data for the disclosures ensuring data accuracy and integrity.\nEnsure audit readiness of ESG data and documentation\nTrack regulatory developments related to ESG and ensure alignment with applicable requirements.\nMaintain ESG MIS and dashboards for internal governance.\nSupport preparation of Sustainability/ESG Reports and other regulatory disclosures.\nMonitor and manage the Bank’s green and sustainable finance portfolio.\nTrack classification, sectoral exposure, monitor Asset – Liability balance and the financial performance of green assets.\nPrepare periodic dashboards and analytical reports for senior management review.\n\nEducational:\nGraduate/ Postgraduate degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field\n\nExperience Required:\n\n2-3 years of experience in any of the product verticals with exposure to ESG, Sustainability, Green financing or related business capacities
