Senior SAP Consultant

Role Summary

We are seeking an SAP AI Consultant to design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI solutions leveraging SAP's AI ecosystem, including SAP Joule Studio, SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, SAP BTP, and Microsoft Azure AI Foundry. The role focuses on building AI agents, intelligent applications, GenAI-powered workflows, and scalable AI solutions that enhance business processes and decision-making across SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop AI-powered applications, AI agents, skills, and workflows using SAP Joule Studio and SAP Build.
• Design, deploy, and manage AI/ML and Generative AI workloads using SAP AI Core, ensuring scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Manage AI use cases, model lifecycle, monitoring, governance, and deployment activities through SAP AI Launchpad.
• Build and extend AI-enabled solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), integrating AI capabilities into SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure AI Foundry to build, orchestrate, deploy, and govern enterprise AI applications and AI agents at scale.
• Design and implement Generative AI solutions utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering techniques.
• Develop integrations between SAP AI services, Azure AI services, SAP applications (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.), and enterprise data platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement AI use cases that drive measurable business outcomes
• Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs), pilot implementations, and production deployments of AI-driven business solutions.
• Define and implement AI governance, security, compliance, monitoring, and operational best practices across enterprise AI environments.
• Create reusable AI solution architectures, frameworks, accelerators, and implementation blueprints.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, SAP AI innovations, and industry best practices to continuously improve enterprise AI capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7–10 years of overall SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Hands-on experience with SAP Joule Studio and SAP Build for developing AI agents, applications, skills, and intelligent workflows.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP AI Core for AI model execution, deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management.
• Experience using SAP AI Launchpad for AI scenario management, monitoring, governance, and operational management.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI Services for developing and managing enterprise AI applications.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, prompt engineering, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience with Python development, REST APIs, and cloud-native application architectures.
• Knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle management, MLOps, LLMOps, model monitoring, and AI governance practices.
• Experience integrating SAP applications, enterprise systems, and external data sources to support AI-powered business solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-design capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage business leaders, architects, and technical teams.
