Position: Workday Payroll Integration Specialist

Location: Remote

Duration: 11 Months


Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Workday Payroll Integration Specialist with strong expertise in payroll integrations, configuration, and reporting within Workday environments. This role will support third-party payroll integrations, payroll data validation, testing activities, and reporting initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English and possess hands-on experience with Workday payroll integration tools, payroll processes, and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Workday payroll settings for third-party payroll providers, including:
  • Pay groups
  • Payroll schedules
  • Pay codes
  • Wage type mappings
  • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday payroll integrations using:
  • PECI
  • PICOF
  • CCW
  • Workday Studio
  • Create and maintain advanced payroll-related reports including:
  • Advanced Reports
  • Matrix Reports
  • Composite Reports
  • Support payroll implementations, enhancements, and integration initiatives
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver effective payroll solutions
  • Develop and execute SIT and UAT test cases for payroll integrations and payroll data validation
  • Troubleshoot payroll integration issues and ensure timely resolution of defects and data discrepancies
  • Support payroll reconciliation, compliance validation, and data accuracy checks
  • Participate in deployment activities, integration testing, and post-production support
  • Work independently on assigned technical tasks while managing deadlines and priorities effectively
  • Provide clear communication and status updates to project stakeholders and leadership teams

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (verbal and written)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Payroll configuration and integrations
  • Expertise with Workday integration technologies including:
  • PECI
  • PICOF
  • CCW
  • Workday Studio
  • Experience supporting third-party payroll integrations within Workday
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing, payroll mapping, and payroll compliance requirements
  • Experience developing advanced payroll-related reports in Workday
  • Ability to create and execute payroll-focused SIT and UAT test scenarios
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in global payroll environments
  • Experience supporting enterprise HRIS or payroll transformation projects
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies
  • Exposure to large-scale system implementations and integration testing initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
