Role Description:


The Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, supporting the executive leadership in driving strategic priorities and organisational effectiveness. In this role, the Program Manager will manage cross-functional projects, track key initiatives, and ensure timely execution of strategic plans. The position involves preparing briefings, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders, as well as coordinating meetings, governance forums, and follow-ups. The Program Manager will act as a strategic thought partner to leadership, synthesise data and insights for decision-making, and facilitate communication across teams. The role also includes building and refining internal processes, supporting partnership and stakeholder engagement efforts, and mentoring team members as needed.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in strategy, management consulting, program management, or a similar leadership-support role, preferably in healthcare, public health, social impact, or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, including professional writing, presentation development, and stakeholder communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and working with senior leadership and external partners.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and emotional intelligence, with the ability to handle sensitive information and navigate complex environments.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, a proactive mindset, and a bias toward execution and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public policy, healthcare management, or a related field; a master’s degree (MBA, MPA, MPH, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with India’s healthcare landscape, policy environment, or biomedical research ecosystem is highly desirable.
  • Previous work in a Non-Governmental Organisation is required.
  • Willingness to work from the New Delhi office and occasionally travel to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as required.
