JOB DESCRIPTION: Procurement Manager\nJob Title: Procurement Manager\nReporting to: CEO/CFO\nMinimum Qualification: Engineering graduate\nDesired Qualification: MBA (Supply Chain)\nRequired experience range: 10 - 12 years.\nTarget industry: Logistics/supply chain\nDepartment: Procurement & Sourcing\n\nRole Objective:\nThe Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement operations across ATL, ensuring cost efficiency, process standardization, and compliance with procurement policies . The role will focus on strategic sourcing, vendor management, and driving value across procurement categories while maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness.\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization\nDevelop sourcing strategies across key categories (transportation, manpower, equipment, fuel, and other spends)\nLead commercial negotiations to achieve best value for money\nDrive rate contracts, benchmarking, and cost optimization initiatives\nTrack and report savings and procurement efficiencies\n2.

Procurement Execution\nManage end-to-end procurement cycle including:\nRequirement understanding\nVendor sourcing\nRFQ / tendering\nCommercial negotiations\nContracting and PO issuance\nEnsure procurement activities are aligned with ATL’s procurement policy and approval matrix\nDrive consistency and standardization across locations\n3. Vendor Management\nIdentify, evaluate, and onboard vendors in line with company standards\nMaintain and update a centralized vendor database\nConduct periodic vendor performance reviews and drive improvements\nEnsure competitive sourcing through multi-vendor approaches\n4. Compliance & Governance\nEnsure adherence to procurement policy, approval matrix, and contracting guidelines\nMaintain proper documentation and audit trails for all procurement transactions\nSupport internal and statutory audits by providing required documentation and clarifications\nIdentify and flag any deviations or risks in procurement processes\n5.

Process Improvement & Digitization\nDrive continuous improvement in procurement processes\nSupport implementation of digital tools for:\nRFQ management\nVendor tracking\nProcurement analytics\nEnhance visibility and transparency across procurement activities\n6. Risk Management\nEvaluate vendor risks and ensure due diligence during onboarding\nEnsure fair, transparent, and ethical procurement practices\nMonitor dependencies on critical vendors and suggest mitigation strategies\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nCost savings and value delivered\nProcurement cycle time\nVendor performance and reliability\nCompliance with procurement policy and approval processes\nAudit observations and closure timelines\nVendor base optimization
