Roles:

We are seeking a seasoned Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Functional Consultant with specialized, hands-on experience in India Local Tax, including GST and TDS. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of India Localization (OFI), AP, AR, and GL modules, with a proven track record of handling complex tax scenarios, implementations, and supporting statutory compliance with Functional Expertise & Implementation (GST Focus)

•Lead the end-to-end implementation and configuration of Oracle Financials for India (OFI) to support Goods and Services Tax (GST) requirements.

•Configure Tax Regimes, Tax Types, Tax Rates, Tax Categories, and Tax defaulting mechanisms for AP, AR, and PO transactions.

•Configure and maintain India Localization GST solution, including GST registration, tax liability calculation, and Input Tax Credit (ITC) management.

•Design and implement TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and TCS (Tax Collected at Source) scenarios, including TDS section codes and tax rates.

•Handle Third-Party Taxes, Bill of Entry (BOE), and Customs Duty configurations for imports.

•Manage Tax Reporting and Statutory compliance requirements (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).

•Resolve complex, day-to-day production incidents regarding tax discrepancies, accounting entries, and data fixes.

•Ensure timely closure of tax periods in Subledgers and GL, supporting Month-End and Year-End activities.

•Perform reconciliation of India Localization tax registers with General Ledger (GL).

Experience : Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS R12, specifically focused on India Tax Localization.

Modules : Deep expertise in AP (Payables), AR (Receivables), GL (General Ledger), and India Localization (OFI).

Tax Specifics : Proven proficiency in GST (CGST, SGST, IGST, UTGST), TDS, TCS, and Customs Duties.

Lifecycle : At least 3-5 full-cycle implementations or major upgrade projects in India Tax.

Tools : Familiarity with PL/SQL (for debugging), Oracle AIM/OUM methodolog
