Job Summary:\nClient is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to help build a next-generation enterprise integration platform from the ground up. This team is leading a strategic initiative to re-platform away from MuleSoft and establish a scalable, cloud-native integration ecosystem built on modern microservices architecture.\nThis role is focused on building the platform that enables integrations—not developing the integrations themselves. You will design and develop the foundational services, SDKs, observability capabilities, workflow orchestration, and platform tooling that enable internal teams to rapidly integrate with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Coupa, and Kinaxis.

The platform is currently in early infancy, MVP stage.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, build, and enhance core platform services using Python and microservices architectures.\nDevelop reusable SDKs, wrappers, and platform capabilities that accelerate integration development.\nBuild and support platform components including:\nEvent streaming and messaging (Kafka)\nAPI management and governance\nSecrets and configuration management\nObservability, monitoring, and telemetry solutions\nWorkflow orchestration capabilities\nDrive platform reliability, performance, and operational excellence.\nContribute to OpenTelemetry implementation and observability strategy.\n\nExperience:\n7+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python development expertise.\nExperience building cloud-native applications and microservices platforms.\nHands-on experience with Kafka or other event-driven architectures.\nStrong understanding of API design, API gateways, and integration platform concepts.\nExperience with monitoring, observability, and telemetry tooling such as Grafana and OpenTelemetry.\nKnowledge of secrets management, configuration management, and platform security best practices.\nExperience building developer-facing platforms, frameworks, SDKs, or shared engineering services.\nStrong understanding of scalability, resiliency, and distributed systems design.
