About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Power Apps Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade low-code/no-code applications on the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and can leverage AI-powered automation to deliver intelligent business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy canvas apps and model-driven apps using Microsoft Power Apps
- Build and manage AI-powered copilots and chatbots using Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents)
- Develop automated workflows using Power Automate (cloud flows, desktop flows, and AI Builder)
- Integrate Power Apps with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, Azure, and third-party APIs
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable app solutions
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC), data policies, and governance best practices
- Create and manage Power BI dashboards for embedded analytics within apps
- Perform testing, debugging, performance tuning, and deployment across environments (Dev/Test/Prod)
- Document solutions, maintain ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) using Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews within the Power Platform CoE (Center of Excellence)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development
- Proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio — building topics, entities, adaptive cards, and integrating with backend APIs
- Strong knowledge of Power Fx, formulas, and component libraries
- Experience integrating Power Apps with REST APIs, OData, SharePoint, SQL, and Azure services
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse schema design, relationships, and security roles
- Understanding of Power Platform governance, DLP policies, and environment management
- Experience with ALM tools — solution packaging, environment variables, and CI/CD pipelines
- Good understanding of JSON, HTTP connectors, and custom connectors
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Certification: PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600 (Microsoft Power Platform certifications)
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Builder, or other generative AI integrations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams app development using Power Apps
- Exposure to PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) controls
- Experience building Copilot plugins and extending Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Customer Service, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript / C# for advanced customizations
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Equivalent work experience will be considered
