We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounts Executive to support daily accounting operations, financial record management, and data processing activities. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong foundation in bookkeeping and accounting principles and are eager to build a career in finance and operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing data entry activities, and supporting the accounting team in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations. This position offers valuable exposure to modern accounting practices, financial reporting, transaction management, and business operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining data integrity and compliance with internal processes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems and records.
- Maintain and update bookkeeping records, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data.
- Process invoices, purchase records, and payment-related documentation.
- Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Update and maintain general ledger entries and accounting records.
- Track expenses, reconcile financial data, and help resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation as required.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions and accounting records.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely collection and verification of financial information.
- Support month-end closing activities, audits, and routine accounting processes.
- Assist in managing inward and outward financial documentation and transaction records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or data entry operations.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial record management.
- Hands-on experience with invoice processing and transaction recording.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other basic computer applications.
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data handling.
- Good numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
