Role Description: ITSM Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of platforms like ServiceNow, including configuration, workflow development, and integrations. CMDB Mastery: Building, maintaining, data normalization, dependency mapping, and managing CI attributes and relationships. IT Asset Management (ITAM): Full asset lifecycle management (procurement to disposal), inventory control, and compliance. Discovery Tools: Familiarity with tools that populate CMDBs (e.g., ServiceNow Discovery). Data Integration & Scripting: Using APIs, import sets, and scripting (JavaScript, Python) for data loading and automation. Reporting & Analytics: Creating dashboards, reports, and analyzing metrics (KPIs, cost) using built-in tools or Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables). Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding operating systems, networks, cloud services, hardware, and software Strong understanding of ITILv4 processes and frameworks Experience in defined practice area required Excellent verbal and written communication skills |
