Modules: Payroll, Absence Management, Time Tracking\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Payroll Consultant with strong expertise across Workday Payroll, Absence Management, and Time Tracking. The role involves leading end-to-end configuration, enhancement, and support of integrated payroll processes, ensuring accurate time capture, absence calculations, and compliant payroll execution. The consultant will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and technical teams to deliver seamless workforce and payroll operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nWorkday Payroll\nConfigure and support Workday Payroll processing, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and payroll inputs.\nManage payroll cycles, pay groups, payroll calendars, and period close activities.\nPerform payroll reconciliation, validation, and issue resolution.\nSupport payroll audits, compliance requirements, and statutory reporting.\nHandle payroll integrations with third-party vendors and finance systems.\nWorkday Absence Management\nConfigure absence plans, eligibility rules, accruals, and time-off policies.\nSupport leave administration including sick leave, vacation, parental leave, and statutory leave policies.\nEnsure accurate absence-to-payroll integration for correct payroll processing.\nTroubleshoot absence-related issues and ensure compliance with organizational policies.\nWorkday Time Tracking\nConfigure time tracking rules, work schedules, time entry codes, and overtime rules.\nSupport integration between Time Tracking and Payroll for accurate pay calculation.\nManage approval workflows for time entries and corrections.\nEnsure compliance with labor laws and company policies regarding working hours.\n\nGeneral Responsibilities\nGather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.\nProvide functional expertise and recommend best practices.\nPrepare functional design documentation and configuration guides.\nProvide production support and resolve issues within SLA timelines.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, and Integration teams.\nMentor junior consultants and support knowledge sharing.\nEnsure seamless integration between Time Tracking, Absence, and Payroll modules.\nHelp support testing activities for end user\nValidate payroll results based on time and absence inputs.\nSupport Workday release updates and regression testing.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.\n8+ years of Workday Payroll experience with strong exposure to Absence and Time Tracking.\nHands-on experience in:\nWorkday Payroll configuration and processing\nWorkday Absence Management\nWorkday Time Tracking\nStrong understanding of payroll calculations and time-to-payroll integration.\nExperience in payroll reconciliation and issue troubleshooting.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nWorkday Payroll certification (preferred).\nExperience with global or multi-country payroll environments.\nKnowledge of labor law compliance and statutory reporting.\nExperience with Workday integrations and calculated fields.\nExposure to Agile project delivery environments.\nAnalytical Thinking\nProblem Solving\nStakeholder Management\nAttention to Detail\nEnd-to-End HR Process Knowledge
