Research And Development Chemist

Job Purpose:

• R&D Chemists utilize Chemical, Chemical Compounds & Chemical process to create new products & technologies to achieve Organizational goals.
• Modifies procedures for processes from time to time in order to compete with the customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate Product prototypes & evaluate them for Chemical & Physical Properties, performance & stability.
• Improve current formulations of products when needed.
• Research Product formulations & Properties of raw materials.
• Establish Product Specifications & Procedures as required for R&D Products.
• Obtain Process Technology & Equipment information for Production.
• Conduct research & field evaluation on new products.
• Develop new products & improve functioning of existing products.
• Provide technical & Supervisory support within Laboratory & other departments as required.
• Coordinate research & development activities within all organizational departments.
• Develops Reports & Documents detailing Projects processes, result & conclusions.
• Any other work assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Desirable: Master degree in Chemistry.
• Essential: 10-15 years’ experience in R&D in a medium-size company.
• Desirable: 2-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Should be willing to work in Shift
