Job Description

Role Purpose\nThe Project Manager – Factory Fit-Out & Infrastructure will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing factory construction, fit-out, expansion, and infrastructure projects. This role will oversee civil, structural, MEP, utilities, production area setup, warehousing, and facility enhancement projects while ensuring delivery within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Planning & Execution\nLead end-to-end execution of factory fit-out, infrastructure, and facility expansion projects.\nDevelop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, and execution strategies.\nCoordinate project activities from concept, design, procurement, execution, commissioning, and handover.\nMonitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved timelines.\nFactory & Production Facility Development\nManage setup and fit-out of production areas, warehouses, laboratories, offices, and support facilities.\nCoordinate installation of manufacturing equipment and production lines.\nEnsure readiness of facilities for production operations.\nSupport factory expansion and capacity enhancement initiatives.\nCivil, MEP & Utilities Management\nOversee civil, structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting, and utility-related works.\nCoordinate installation and commissioning of utilities such as compressed air, power distribution, DG systems, water treatment, and HVAC systems.\nEnsure compliance with engineering specifications and operational requirements.\nContractor & Vendor Management\nIdentify, evaluate, and manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers.\nReview technical proposals, BOQs, and project estimates.\nNegotiate contracts and monitor contractor performance.\nEnsure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.\nBudget & Cost Control\nPrepare project budgets and capital expenditure estimates.\nMonitor project spending and control costs against approved budgets.\nEvaluate change requests and manage cost variations.\nProvide regular financial and progress reports to management.\nQuality, Safety & Compliance\nEnsure all projects comply with company quality standards and engineering specifications.\nEnforce EHS policies and safe work practices at project sites.\nEnsure compliance with statutory, environmental, fire, and building regulations.\nConduct inspections, audits, and project quality reviews.\nStakeholder Management\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, EHS, and HR teams.\nProvide regular project updates to leadership and key stakeholders.\nManage project documentation, approvals, drawings, and handover records.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.\nPMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.\n\nExperience\n8–12 years of experience in industrial projects, factory construction, manufacturing facility fit-outs, or infrastructure development.\nExperience managing greenfield, brownfield, factory expansion, or plant setup projects.\nExperience in FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, furniture, mattress, foam, textiles, or industrial sectors preferred.
