Job Description

Role Summary- Presales and Bid Management Lead to own the end-to-end bid lifecycle for US healthcare opportunities, with subject-matter expertise in Medicare and Medicaid programs . This role will require the candidate acting as a healthcare domain SME who shapes winning solutions alongside practice and delivery teams and helps construct viable, competitive commercial models.


Key responsibilities-

  • Managing the sales bid process by responding to RFI’s & RFP. Create standard templates, manage BD databases for reference.
  • Own the complete bid lifecycle — qualification (bid/no-bid), kickoff, win-theme development, storyboarding, content creation, reviews, and final submission.
  • Work in sync with the product development team and develop sustainable and commercially viable products.
  • Prepare commercial models by working closely with the finance team.
  • Keeping abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes
  • To attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex products and solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Required Domain Expertise (Healthcare)-

  • Medicare & Medicaid Program Knowledge – Exposure to CMS regulations, Medicare (Parts A/B/C/D, Advantage), Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, claims, and managed care models; familiarity with state-specific Medicaid programs and MMIS.
  • Healthcare Payer/Plan Operations – Working knowledge of payer functions such as claims processing, member enrollment, provider management, care management, appeals & grievances, and benefits administration.
  • Healthcare Compliance & Regulatory Frameworks – Familiarity with HIPAA, HITECH, ACA, CMS reporting/audit requirements, and quality measures (HEDIS, Stars ratings) relevant to government healthcare contracts.
  • Government Healthcare Procurement & RFP Domain Expertise – Experience responding to state/federal healthcare RFPs (Medicaid enterprise, fiscal agent, MES modular procurements), understanding evaluation criteria, SOWs, and compliance matrices specific to public-sector healthcare.
  • Healthcare Technology & Solutioning – Understanding of digital health solutions, claims/payment integrity, eligibility systems, interoperability (FHIR/HL7), automation, and analytics as applied to Medicare/Medicaid business


Key Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; persuasive proposal writing and storyboarding.
  • Strong orchestration and stakeholder-management skills across practice, delivery, finance, and leadership
  • Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, preferably within the software or technology industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of winning/ working on state/federal healthcare or Medicaid/Medicare engagements.
