Role Overview:

The role is responsible for advancing the Centre's international engagement agenda by driving strategic research, policy intelligence, and global stakeholder collaboration. The incumbent will lead in-depth analyses of global trade, cross-border investments, international economic developments, and geopolitical shifts to generate actionable insights for industry and policymakers.

The position will play a critical role in strengthening the organisations policy advocacy efforts, fostering relationships with foreign governments, multilateral organizations, diplomatic missions, and global industry networks, while supporting initiatives that enhance India’s international economic partnerships and competitiveness.

Candidate Requirement:

Qualification -

• Postgraduate qualification in International Relations, Economics, Public Policy, Global Affairs, International Trade, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
• A strong academic foundation in economic policy, international affairs, and global governance will be highly valued.

Skill Set/ Attributes -

• 13–16 years of progressive experience in international research, economic policy, global affairs, trade strategy, or related domains.
• Deep expertise in India's trade and economic policies, international markets, multilateral institutions, and evolving geopolitical landscapes.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous research, synthesize complex information, and develop insightful policy recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to prepare high-quality reports, publications, presentations, and thought leadership content.
• Proven track record of managing multiple assignments simultaneously while delivering outcomes within demanding timelines.
• Strong analytical orientation with proficiency in quantitative research methodologies; experience with data analytics, visualization platforms, and business intelligence tools will be an added advantage.
