SAP MDG Technical Consultant

Qualifications:
Basic Qualification (Must-Have)
- 10+ years of overall SAP experience
- 5+ years hands-on SAP MDG experience
- Experience in S/4HANA
- Worked on at least 1–2 end-to-end MDG implementations
- Candidate currently working in technical or techno-functional role (not purely functional)
- Data Modeling
- Experience in custom MDG data model enhancements
- Worked on entity types, relationships, attributes
- Exposure to MDG-Material / MDG-Supplier / MDG-Customer / MDG-Finance domains
- ABAP & Enhancements (Critical Filter)
- Strong ABAP / OO ABAP experience

Hands-on with MDG BADIs, such as:
- Agent Determination
- Validation / Derivation BADIs
- Rule Context BADIs
- Experience in debugging MDG staging & active area issues
- Integration & Replication
- Experience with DRF (Data Replication Framework)

Integrated MDG with:
- ECC / S/4 systems
- Middleware (CPI / PI / PO)
- Non-SAP systems (Ariba, Salesforce, SuccessFactors, PLM, etc.)
- S/4HANA & Business Partner
- Experience with Business Partner (BP) model
- Worked on Customer/Vendor integration (CVI)
- Knowledge of BP conversion in S/4HANA
- Advanced Capabilities (Strong Differentiators) – Good to have!
- Experience with Master Data Consolidation (MDC)
- Performance tuning / MDG optimization
- Complex issue resolution in production systems (L3 support)
- Architecture or solution design exposure

- Experience in FIT-GAP workshops
- Involved in technical design / estimation
- Led or mentored team members
- Client-facing experience
