- As a Salesforce Data 360 Engineer, you will be responsible for owning and governing Data Cloud based architecture across multiple Salesforce implementations.
- You will design, build, and deploy scalable Data 360 solutions while ensuring enterprise-grade performance, security, and data governance.
- This role requires strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360), combined with deep Salesforce technical expertise.
- You will collaborate with business and delivery teams to drive adoption of unified customer data, real-time activation, and AI-enabled use cases, while establishing best practices for data modeling, identity resolution, and activation architectures.
Essential Job Functions:
- Own and govern the technical architecture for Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) implementations across programs.
- Design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale Data 360 solutions, including data ingestion, unification, and activation.
- Define data ingestion, identity resolution, data modeling, and activation strategies aligned to business use cases.
- Lead and guide teams responsible for Data Cloud development, configuration, and deployment.
- Conduct technical and architectural design reviews, ensuring adherence to Data Cloud best practices and standards.
- Integrate Data Cloud with Salesforce core data models, Marketing Cloud, Personalization, AgentForce, Apex, Flows, and external systems.
- Identify platform limitations and data constraints, designing scalable and compliant mitigation approaches.
- Provide architectural oversight and technical guidance across multiple teams and initiatives.
- Facilitate technical workshops for Data Cloud solution design, identity strategy alignment, and activation planning.
- Define reusable Data Cloud frameworks, patterns, and best practices for ingestion, unification, and activation.
- Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, security, and data governance.
- Mentor teams on Data Cloud implementation standards, governance, and release best practices.
- Evaluate new Salesforce Data Cloud features and roadmap enhancements for enterprise adoption.
Qualifications:
Must Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) in enterprise implementations
- Drive adoption of advanced Data Cloud capabilities including Agentforce, Einstein AI, Zero Copy, Semantic Layer, and Document AI.
- Deep understanding and proven hands-on experience of Data Streams, DMOs, Identity Resolution, Data Transforms, Calculated Insights, Segmentation, and Activation.
- Proven ability to design and govern data ingestion strategies (batch, streaming, APIs, Zero Copy).
- Experience working across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud with Data Cloud integration.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform limits, Data Cloud constraints, and scalable architecture design
- Ability to develop maintainable and scalable solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Advanced SQL skills for analytics and Calculated insights.
- Experience with APIs, event data, and cloud data platforms.
- Experience working with JSON, APIs, and data integration pipelines.
- Understanding of event-based data and customer engagement tracking.
- Basic understanding of Salesforce metadata, objects, and permissions.
- Experience with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and release governance in Salesforce environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to guide teams, manage stakeholders, and drive successful Salesforce Data 360 delivery in complex enterprise environments.

- 10-12+ years of Salesforce experience.
- 1-2 years experience in Data 360 implementation projects is required
- Familiarity with Agile / SAFe delivery methodologies.
- Experience handling multiple teams and workstreams.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Experience working with enterprise customers.
