You will be stationed at the OEM and be responsible for the following tasks to be outsourced

• Create, manage and control project development schedules
• Development practices and project management to adapt the functions used in ADAS to vehicles
• Proactive process improvement efforts and progress management
• Supplier technical specification coordination and progress management
• Test specification adjustment, progress management, result analysis
• Progress management of parts product drawings and layout activities
• Adjustment of equipment specifications and progress management until specification finalization
• Functional safety (ISO26262) process work and its progress management
• Cybersecurity process work and progress management
• Software update process work and progress management vehicle
• Japanese-English/English-Japanese document and email translation in the engineering field

• In case relocation required, the cost can be reimbursed (approx. 150k to 300k JPY)

• Architectural level understanding of the entire in-vehicle system.
• Good understanding of ADAS system architecture and requirements for In Cabin features like DMS, OMS, CPD.
• Experience in performing DRBFM, FTA, FMEA etc.
• Those who are familiar with creating system specifications for ADAS functions
• 3+ years of embedded software development experience
• More than 8 years' work experience in the automotive industry Preferably OEM/ Tier 1s
• Manage customer discussions and update progress to customers.
• Solving issues through proactive cross functional communication and cross-cultural teamwork.
• Work experience as a Project Manager or PMO
• Project Management Tools experience as user (JIRA/ GitLab / DOORS / MS Project / Scrum Agile Practice)
• Business-level English proficiency (Use English in internal meetings and when reporting to the reporting line)

We welcome individuals who have any of the following skills in order to proceed with projects while cooperating with related departments and Tier 1 suppliers

• Experience in automotive systems engineering
• Detailed understanding of vehicle safety regulations (Euro NCAP, ASEAN NCAP, IIHC, Global NCAP, Japan NCAP, etc.)
• Basic understanding of related functional components required for ADAS
• Detailed understanding of ADAS ECU and all safety components (logic/horizontal/warnings/alerts etc.)
• Basic understanding of system architecture and component diagrams for ADAS component
• Basic understanding of vehicle communication/diagnostic protocols (CAN/LIN/DTC, etc.)
• Basic understanding of electrical circuit diagrams/harness CAD experience
• Basic understanding of test tools (ETAS/VECTOR/Lauterbach etc.)
• Functional Safety - Brief understanding of ISO 26262 and homologation requirements such as R10, R79, R89, R13H, GSR, etc.

Language Skill

• English - Business Level (TOEIC score: over 600 *Estimate), Experience of working in English (e.g. meeting, e-mail)
• Japanese - Native Level or JLPT N2 or above

Education Level

• Bachelor's, or higher degree, in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, System Engineering, Computer Science etc.
