About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional technology initiatives within a dynamic global environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the successful delivery of technical projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
This role requires strong project management expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work closely with development, maintenance, and managed service provider (MSP) teams to drive project execution and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
- Develop detailed project plans, define project milestones, and monitor progress against established objectives.
- Direct the integration of technical activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with development, support, and MSP teams to oversee ongoing maintenance and project-related activities.
- Prepare and present project proposals, status reports, findings, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Analyze project requirements, resource needs, and potential risks to assess project feasibility and support informed decision-making.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, management, and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment and transparency.
- Review project deliverables, monitor performance metrics, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Support resource planning and help ensure team readiness and competency to meet project demands.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of overall professional experience, including significant experience managing technical projects.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in technology-driven environments.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Experience working with application development, support, and maintenance teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple initiatives, and manage competing deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMI or PMP certification.
- Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or vendor-managed teams.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and delivery frameworks.
- Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, quality management principles, and project governance practices.
