SQL LEAD Banking

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced MS SQL Lead with a strong background in the banking or financial services domain to lead database development and optimization efforts. The ideal candidate should have deep technical expertise in SQL Server, database architecture, and performance tuning, along with experience working in banking applications or platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage SQL database development for banking/financial systems

· Design and optimize complex stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views

· Implement and monitor data security, backup, and disaster recovery solutions

· Ensure data integrity and performance tuning of SQL queries and reports

· Work closely with developers, testers, and business analysts for project delivery

· Handle database versioning and deployment across environments

· Mentor junior database engineers and provide technical leadership

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams on database design and architecture

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Strong expertise in MS SQL Server (2016 and above)

· Proven experience with complex SQL queries, performance tuning, and indexing

· Experience in SSIS, SSRS is a plus

· Solid understanding of banking domain processes or applications

· Knowledge of data security, compliance, and audit practices in banking

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

· Ability to manage time, tasks, and priorities independ
