About the Role

Ethos is looking for ambitious and analytical individuals to join our Finance & Strategy Team. You will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and scalability across the business.

As part of this high-impact team, you will work cross-functionally with senior leaders across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to identify opportunities, build models, and solve complex business challenges.

This role offers exposure to the company's executive leadership and provides a strong foundation for careers in strategy, business operations, and financial leadership within a fast-scaling global startup.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate key business problems and strategic initiatives; develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, and Finance teams on high-impact projects.
    Build and maintain financial and operational models to support forecasting, planning, and strategic decisions.
    Track key performance indicators for the business and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support annual and quarterly business reviews, financial planning, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the US-based Finance & Strategy team to ensure alignment on global goals and metrics.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • MBA in Finance, Strategy, or a related specialization.
  • 2-3 years of prior experience (including pre-MBA or internship experience) in areas such as:

    • Financial analysis, strategy, or business planning
    • Consulting projects or internships focused on operations, finance, or market strategy
    • Analytical or problem-solving roles in corporate, startup, or technology environments

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent command of Excel; familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools is an advantage.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to present insights clearly and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (3 days/week in the Bangalore office).
