Job Title : Offshore Structured Engineer

Experience : 15 to 20 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and evaluate fixed and floating offshore structures for offshore facilities.
  
• Develop structural design criteria considering environmental, live, and dead loads.
  
• Perform structural integrity assessments and recommend reinforcement or modification solutions.
  
• Support engineering activities across concept development, FEED, detailed design, construction, installation, and operations.
  
• Develop and implement Structural Integrity Management (SIM) and Reliability-Based Inspection (RBI) programs.
  
• Conduct structural analysis using industry-standard engineering software and tools.
  
• Support fabrication, transportation, installation, and commissioning of offshore structures.
  
• Participate in safety reviews, risk assessments, and integrity management initiatives.
  
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
  
• Review offshore transportation and installation methodologies and provide technical recommendations.
  
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, guidelines, and technical documentation.
  
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting support, and engineering solutions for offshore assets.

Requisites

• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  
• Strong experience in offshore structural engineering and offshore facility design.
  
• Expertise in fixed and floating offshore structures such as jackets, TLPs, FPSOs, semi-submersibles, and gravity-based structures.
  
• Strong knowledge of offshore design codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Experience in structural dynamics, finite element analysis (FEA), hydrodynamics, and nonlinear structural behavior.
  
• Hands-on experience with structural analysis tools such as SACS, SESAM, ANSYS, MOSES, USFOS, and STAAD Pro.
  
• Experience in structural integrity management, inspection planning, and risk mitigation.
  
• Understanding of offshore transportation, installation, and marine engineering operations.
  
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and technical reporting skills.
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination abilities.
