About The Job:
- Perform IT infrastructure support services, related tasks and activities at Trelleborg group of companies within Asia Pacific.
- The duties of this position are primarily in the area of Microsoft platform applications, Windows Servers/Desktop, LAN/WAN/WLAN/VLAN.
- Providing support to multiple sites and widely distributed infrastructures
- Assist in maintaining the corporate Applications, Servers, LAN, WAN, WLAN and Security.
- Assist 1st and 2nd level support to resolve complex issues and escalations to 3rd level.
- Perform documentations, support implementation and ensure adherence to new and/or improved IT processes following Trelleborg IT standards.

Essential Job Functions:
Infrastructure Management:
- Maintain and support corporate applications, servers, LAN/WAN/WLAN/VLAN, and security systems across multiple geographically dispersed sites.
- Assist in resolving complex 1st and 2nd level technical issues
- Escalation of tickets/incidents to 3rd level support when the solution is unknown or cannot be resolved due to access limitations
- Thoroughly document configurations, policies, and procedures to meet IT controls and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ITAR, if applicable).
- Ensure all systems comply with internal IT security policies and industry standards, such as ISO certifications
- Support of asset management processes following defined Trelleborg Policies and IT standards.
- Adherence to Trelleborg IT policies, IT Code of Conduct, IT Quality manual, and any new or improved internally defined polices and standards
- Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in networks, systems, and applications to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance
- Collaborate with departments, vendors, and technical personnel to address and escalate issues.
- Respond to user requests via a ticketing system, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution before closing tickets.
- Acting as a first point of contact for all Trelleborg users.
- Communicates known solutions to end-users in a user-friendly and professional manner.
- Education of users based on Trelleborg processes to make optimal use of Trelleborg business systems.
- Preventive Maintenance and planning:
- Implement and schedule preventative maintenance routines to minimize disruptions.
- Participate in planning, implementation, and documentation to support IT initiatives.
- Stay current with state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and systems relevant to job functions
- Contribute to process improvements and recommend actionable solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Active participation in scheduled trainings and meetings
- Active contribution to Global Competence Team group activities where required.
- Work closely with regional and global teams to support Group IT operations and projects where required.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent job experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in Microsoft-based technology, WAN/LAN, and systems support.
- Relevant certifications preferred: MCP, MCSE, CompTIA, or other IT certifications
- Basic understanding of written and spoken English.
- Experience working in a multi-site, globally distributed IT environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and process optimization methodologies.
- Certifications in cybersecurity, network infrastructure, system administration, or cloud technologies (e.g., Azure)
- Competencies
- Proficient in Active Directory, O365, Dell Kace/CyberArk, and Microsoft server administration.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN routing/switching technologies (Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3).
- Familiarity with available computing hardware, peripheral equipment, and network infrastructure
- Strong cyber security awareness, familiarity with endpoint protection systems.
- Familiarity of backup systems
- Familiarity with server room setup
- Great verbal/conversational and written communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, management, and end users
- Strong customer service orientation to ensure user satisfaction and efficient issue resolution
- Capable of dealing with the typical tensions that arise within an IT service environment
- Ability to create accurate and comprehensive documentation that aligns with IT controls and regulatory requirements.
- To be able to negotiate/communicate with the vendors to implement IT infrastructure equipment under the limited budget.
- Experienced in interacting with the management of external suppliers & service providers.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to organize workloads, establish priorities, and resolve operational challenges effectively
- Skilled in identifying and resolving network malfunctions and operational problems.
- This position will interact with all levels of employees and functional groups in the Trelleborg group of companies, from senior management to basic user groups.
- In addition, the person will have to interact with external service suppliers and contractors related to IT.
- Geography to cover and Travel requirements
- Would be physically based in two locations of Trelleborg India Pvt Ltd (100 metres apart):
- Would need to physically visit other sites in India when needed.
- Would be assigned Primary and Secondary Site Support Responsibilities that fall within the Asia Pacific region.
- Ability to travel within the country, regionally and internationally as required by business for support and/or project work.
- A friendly, helpful, and outgoing personality is an advantage due to the broad spectrum of internal and external interaction requirements.
- Ability to manage own work priorities and schedules (good self-management skills).
- High level of customer focus and strong customer support commitment with a dynamic and positive attitude.
- Ability to cooperate with other individuals with a problem-solving oriented attitude on a professional level
- Strong team player in a culturally diverse, fast-paced, environment.
- Ability to work and communicate well with a virtual team.

- Meet the yearly defined Goals and Objectives.
- Meet defined Service Desk Service Level Objectives and Service Level Agreements targets.
- Manage end-user incidents and prioritize work based on defined SLAs.
