About Rekise Marine

Rekise Marine is building autonomous ships and submarines that operate in the world's most hostile environments. We're executing India's flagship autonomous submarine project, the Jalkapi XLAUV, on order from the Indian Navy. This is an unmanned submarine weighing over 20 tons that can travel 5,000+ kilometers autonomously and operate in the ocean for 30+ days at a time.

We're creating some of the largest autonomous robots in the world, machines with direct impact on the global economy and national security. While autonomous cars in India may still be a dream, autonomous ships and submarines are already a reality, and it is possible to build for the world from India.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Assistant with a strong electrical background to support our product development, testing, and manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll work hands-on with our engineering team to ensure our autonomous underwater vehicles meet the highest performance, electrical reliability, and operational standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge defense technology and contribute directly to India's strategic capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support in electrical assembly, wiring, installation, and maintenance of autonomous marine vessels

Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and quality control of electrical systems, circuits, batteries, sensors, control panels, and components

Handle procurement of electrical parts, connectors, cables, tools, and materials; manage inventory and vendor coordination

Support workshop operations including electrical equipment setup, calibration, testing, and preventive maintenance

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications

Perform administrative tasks such as documentation, filing, and coordinating with suppliers and clients

Maintain a clean, organised work environment, ensuring electrical safety and operational efficiency in the workshop

Required Qualifications

ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, EEE, E&I, or related field

2-6 years of hands-on experience in electrical assembly, manufacturing, panel wiring, testing, or workshop environments

Strong understanding of basic electrical principles, circuits, wiring, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications

Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel)

Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Preferred Experience

Experience in marine, aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial equipment, or electrical manufacturing environments

Familiarity with electrical testing, quality control processes, and documentation

Exposure to battery systems, PLCs, control panels, sensors, motors, or embedded electrical systems is an added advantage

Candidates based in Bengaluru are preferred
