Senior Accounting Analyst

Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring smooth and accurate month-end closes, with a focus on fixed asset accounting. The position requires the preparation and posting of journals, performing reconciliations, and ensuring management and statutory reporting is completed accurately and on time. The role also involves contributing to the continuous improvement of financial and operational processes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes.
• Ensure management and statutory reporting is completed accurately and on time.
• Perform reconciliations and BS review and file preparation.
• Prepare and post journals.
• Provide support for continuous improvement of financial and operational processes.
• Post accruals and support accruals calculation.
• Ensure timely cross-charge of project costs and management charges.
• Provide and maintain sufficient backup for intercompany recharges.
• Perform GL reconciliations and BS analysis.
• Assist the team in preparing for PWC audit (both group and statutory).
• Update annual statutory reports (BS, CF, PL, and appendix).
• Responsible for daily operational accounting and financial activities.
• Participate in the month-end close, BFC reporting, and reconciliation process.
• Work closely with in-house and local financial teams.
• Liaise with outsource providers and participate in the captive migration RTR project.
• Drive issue resolution and suggest improvements to processes.

Requirements:

• Graduate in Finance or Accounting.
• 6-8 years of experience in Accounting with technical accounting skills.
• Experience in Financial Reporting (end-to-end view of Financial Statement Preparation).
• Experience in Legal entity controllership.
• Experience in a multi-national SSC environment.
