About the Role


In today’s fast-evolving tech landscape, IT business partners play a critical role in bridging business needs with technology solutions. Moving beyond traditional service delivery, they proactively collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand goals, translate them into technology requirements, and drive implementation.


Acting as a key liaison between business and IT, they ensure successful adoption of new tools, support end users, and continuously relay feedback to enhance solutions. Strong communication, business acumen, and industry expertise are essential, as this is a true “dual-hat” role—representing business in tech discussions and technology within business conversations.


The AGS Technology Business Partner (India) partners closely with Technology & Data teams, Program Office, RDC, and senior leadership to drive technology adoption, improve operational efficiency, and support growth. This role serves as a subject matter expert in recruitment technology, identifying improvement opportunities, resolving recurring issues, and delivering strategic impact across AGS operations and client engagements


Your Responsibilities, Impact & Contribution

Strategy Execution & Technology Leadership

  • Drive execution of AGS technology strategy, with a focus on Acumen Intelligent Workforce Platform (IWP)
  • Partner with business leaders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and recommend technology solutions
  • Translate business problems into scalable use cases in collaboration with product teams
  • Ensure the right technology fit, avoiding misaligned or unnecessary solutions

Adoption & Value Realization

  • Lead and guide leaders to maximize adoption of Acumen IWP and partner technologies
  • Identify adoption barriers and collaborate with operations and technology teams to resolve them
  • Support VPs, EDs, and Program Leaders with overall technology strategy
  • Develop business cases (TSIB) and monitor ROI to drive measurable outcomes

Stakeholder Management & Governance

  • Act as the primary escalation point for Program Offices, leadership, and clients on technology issues
  • Ensure accountability as the business sponsor for technology initiatives
  • Build strong relationships across GBS, FBS, Program Offices, clients, and technology partners
  • Maintain open communication with Technology Partners and leadership teams

Business Development & Compliance

  • Support business development and pre-sales activities alongside Pre-Sales engineers
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure security and contractual adherence


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience as a trusted advisor in recruitment/HR technology, partnering with senior leaders
  • Strong ability to influence and build credibility in a matrixed environment
  • Experience with HR tech platforms (ATS, VMS, CRM, RPA, Talent Communities, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Passion for innovation with ability to translate ideas into scalable solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Degree preferred
