About Airtribe
Airtribe is a learning community for people who want to become confident, AI-fluent builders. We run live, cohort-based programs taught by product and tech leaders from successful technology companies.
Our audience sits across early career professionals, including aspiring PMs, early engineers and builders who want to add AI to their toolkit and future-proof their careers.
The Context
At Airtribe, content is not a support function. It’s the engine that drives brand, growth, and trust. As we scale, content needs to stand out, connect with our audience, and drive meaningful engagement, not just impressions.
It also needs to feel like Airtribe in every channel and every register, whether we’re announcing a new community event, celebrating a student, or turning down an applicant.
This role exists to build a content system that ships consistently, and to make sure Airtribe’s voice shows up clearly across everything we publish.
The Role
As a Brand Marketer, you’ll own content across the lifecycle, from ideation to publishing to analysis. You’ll also own how Airtribe sounds, holding our voice steady across platforms and emotional contexts.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys experimenting, iterating, and writing a brand into existence.
What You’ll Own
- Content production across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and email
- Repurposing podcasts, webinars, and long-form sessions into short-form pieces (reels, carousels, threads, shorts)
- Writing and editing across formats: posts, captions, emails, scripts, landing copy
- Maintaining and evolving Airtribe’s voice: what we sound like, what we don’t say, how the tone shifts across platforms
- A content calendar that ships consistently without becoming mechanical
- Tracking performance and improving content based on what the data actually says
- Collaborating with growth, product, and program teams on campaign moments
What Problems You’ll Solve
- Cutting through a feed that’s increasingly noisy and AI-generated
- Building recall: people remembering Airtribe weeks after they last saw us
- Holding brand voice across very different contexts: sales-led announcements, emotional student wins, applicant rejections
- Knowing the difference between content that performs and content that just travels
- Finding what works and turning it into a repeatable system
How This Role Evolves
In the initial phase, your focus will be on understanding the brand, audience, and existing content ecosystem while executing consistently.
Over time, you will take ownership of content strategy, build scalable systems, and contribute to defining how Airtribe shows up across platforms. This role can evolve into owning larger content initiatives or leading the content function based on your trajectory.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years in content, social media, or brand roles, preferably in startups or brand-first environments
- Strong writing, the kind where you can read three samples and know they’re by the same person
- Strong instincts for brand voice: you can read a brand from the outside, form a sharp POV on what it should own, and write deliberately in registers that aren’t yours
- Working fluency with content tooling: CapCut, Canva, Descript, basic video editing, and a clear point of view on which tools matter
- Real understanding of how Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube actually work, not just algorithm folklore
- Ability to tell the difference between vanity metrics and real signal
- A bias for shipping over briefing
What This Role Is Not
This is not a task-based execution role. If your current job is mostly scheduling posts a manager has briefed you on, this isn’t that role. We’re looking for someone who’ll write the brief, then write the post, then look at what worked and rewrite the brief next month.
Why Join Airtribe
- Shape the brand voice of a fast-growing startup at the stage where it still matters most
- Work directly with founders and growth leaders
- High ownership with the freedom to experiment and execute
- Build content that creates conversations, not just impressions
If you enjoy writing into a brand and making it sound like something, this role will give you the platform to do it.
