The Urologist will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, performing urological procedures and surgeries, interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role involves pre- and post-operative patient management, participation in multidisciplinary case discussions, and close collaboration with anesthesiology, oncology, radiology, and intensive care teams. The Urologist will also contribute to clinical protocols, maintain accurate medical records, support quality improvement initiatives, and participate in on-call duties as per department requirements.\nQualifications\nStrong clinical foundation in Medicine and Urology, with the ability to manage a wide range of acute and chronic urological conditions.\nProficiency in Surgery and urological operative techniques, including endourological, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive procedures.\nExperience or training in Pediatric Urology for the assessment and management of urological conditions in children and adolescents.\nExposure to or expertise in Robotic Surgery and advanced minimally invasive technologies is highly desirable.\nRecognized medical degree (MBBS) and completion of postgraduate specialization in Urology (e.g., MS/MD + MCh/DNB Urology or equivalent), with valid registration with the appropriate medical council.\nProven ability to work in a high-volume tertiary care setting, with strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and adherence to evidence-based practice.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.\nCommitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, participation in CMEs, and contribution to departmental teaching or mentoring activities.
