Job Title: Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivable (Order to Cash / OTC)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivable (OTC/O2C) to lead Order-to-Cash operations, ensuring effective collections, cash application, dispute resolution, and customer account management. The ideal candidate will have strong people management experience, stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence within AR/OTC processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) / Accounts Receivable operations.
- Oversee collections, cash application, billing, deductions, and dispute management processes.
- Drive reduction in aged receivables and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Monitor collection performance and ensure achievement of SLA and KPI targets.
- Review aging reports and prioritize collection activities.
- Partner with customers, sales teams, and finance stakeholders to resolve payment disputes and billing issues.
- Ensure accurate cash posting, account reconciliation, and month-end close support.
- Lead and develop a team of AR/OTC professionals through coaching and performance management.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–9 years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Order-to-Cash / OTC operations.
- Strong expertise in Collections, Cash Application, Billing, Deductions, Dispute Resolution, and Customer Account Management.
- Prior team handling experience.
- Experience working on ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, PeopleSoft, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), or BPO environments preferred.
