Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
• Identify and target potential clients needing freight forwarding services.
• Represent the company with thorough knowledge of our services, and providing solutions aligning with customers’ needs.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to generate and achieve revenue targets defined by the management.
• Work on lead generation, and client meetings to close deals.
• Maintain and grow customer sales volume.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business, by regular visits to qualified prospects & customers, to drive the business.
• Provide customized logistics solutions based on client requirements.
• Address customer concerns related to pricing, shipment tracking, and service quality.
Market Research & Strategy:
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and service offerings.
• Develop annual sales plans based on industry developments and trade routes.
• Implement marketing strategies.
Collaboration with Operations & Pricing Teams:
• Work with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
• Coordinate with pricing teams to provide competitive freight quotes.
• Ensure all documentation and customs compliance requirements are met.
Revenue & Target Achievement:
• Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
• Negotiate pricing and service contracts with clients.
• Track sales performance and report to management.
Customer Service & Problem Resolution:
• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.
• Work with internal teams to improve service quality and delivery timelines.
• Collecting payments in a timely manner from clients, as per the credit lines approved
• Adhering to company policy while catering to customers’ needs.
