Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tour Executive role based in Chennai. The Tour Executive will coordinate and manage domestic and international tour inquiries, prepare customized itineraries, and handle reservations for transport, accommodation, and sightseeing services. The role involves interacting with customers and corporate clients, understanding their travel requirements, providing suitable options, and ensuring timely confirmations and documentation. The Tour Executive will liaise with airlines, hotels, transport providers, and other partners to secure competitive rates and maintain service quality. Responsibilities also include managing tour operations during travel, addressing guest concerns, ensuring smooth execution of tours, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Tour Planning and designing detailed Itineraries tailored to client needs. Experience in Guided Tours and Tour Management, including coordinating services and handling on-tour support. Excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams in a professional manner. Prior experience in travel and tourism operations, preferably with corporate or B2 B clients. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in basic computer applications and reservation/booking tools; familiarity with GDS or travel software is an advantage. Customer-focused mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Willingness to work flexible hours during peak seasons or based on client requirements.
