General Manager - Design

As a General Manager – Design, you will be responsible for driving the overall Design business performance across one or multiple regions. You will own key business metrics, customer experience, design quality, team performance, and revenue growth while building a high-performing design organization.

The role requires a strong blend of business acumen, design expertise, operational excellence, and people leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to scale design operations, improve customer satisfaction, and deliver sustainable business growth.

What You’ll Do

• Own regional design revenue, profitability, and business performance.
• Lead and mentor Design Managers, Senior Designers, and Interior Designers.
• Ensure high-quality, error-free designs and timely design sign-offs.
• Drive customer satisfaction, design conversions, and category growth.
• Manage key metrics including revenue, CSAT/NPS, productivity, and team engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and customer experience.
• Lead hiring, training, performance management, and team development initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (B.Arch prefered).
• MBA from a reputed institution will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

• 7+ years of experience in Interior Design, Architecture, Interior Fit-Out, Home Interiors, or related industries.
• Proven experience managing large revenue-generating teams and multi-location operations.
• Strong track record of delivering business growth and operational excellence.
• Experience in leading senior managers and large design teams.
