Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments (EKS/AKS/GKE/OpenShift/on-premises).
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Create and maintain Kubernetes resources including Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, StatefulSets, and Helm Charts.
• Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.
• Implement GitOps practices using tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
• Monitor infrastructure and application performance using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes clusters, networking, storage, containers, and deployments.
• Configure and manage RBAC, Network Policies, Secrets Management, and Kubernetes Security best practices.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Operations teams to streamline release management and deployment processes.
• Perform cluster upgrades, patch management, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards for availability, security, and operational excellence.
Required Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, and GitOps methodologies.
• Understanding of Kubernetes networking concepts, ingress controllers, service mesh, and storage classes.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKAD, or CKS.
• Experience with OpenShift administration.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security scanning tools.
• Experience supporting 24×7 production environments.
Educational Qualification
